A self righting vessel ensures the safety of the boat crew by recovering from a 180 degree roll over in times of distress. A visual inspection will be carried out before we will remove the self righting bag from the boat. The self righting bag will undergo a 24 hour pressure test.
After the pressure test, we will analyse the chamber and accompanying cylinder to find any leakages or defects. There may also be valve replacement if needed.
Thereafter, with all patching and repairs done, a final 24 hour test will be administered to ensurechamber is without leakages.
